The greatness of a city is reflected in its ability to fulfill its vision, values, and objectives.
Bringing together the five spheres of the city helps a city reach its full potential. Like the systems of a human body, government, business, education, media/entertainment, and faith-based entities work together to develop the health and character of the city.
We do it better together because we refuse to do it alone.
When that City recognizes the importance and impact of collaboration, then the imperative of integrating other entities becomes compelling.
The current realities of the city are better than they once were, illustrating a transformed city.
Regional Collaboration
The greatness of city-to-city connections creates a collaborative network where the uniqueness of each city brings character to the region.
Networking regionally strengthens Statewide integrity.
How
City health can be gauged by three things: morality (good neighbors who are self governed), management (the collaboration between the five city spheres), and money (entrepreneurism drives economic impact). The two entities created by God to promote, provide, and protect the common welfare of the city are the church and the government. A Church is planted when the home group reaches the ability to financially support a full-time pastor.
WE COMMUNICATE
We make contact with the spiritual movers and shakers of the city who are currently gathering and praying for the welfare of that city.
We make contact with the city influencers who represent each of the five spheres to let them know our heart for the cities and our desire to come alongside them and their work.
WE CONNECT
We share the vision and the values of our movement through various meetings.
We show how our city-reaching model can strengthen the ongoing legacy in that city, with examples of the twenty-year model currently and actively working in Fort Collins (The Fort Collins Church Network, FCCN).
WE CARE
We establish small home groups of like-minded people to build healthy community relationships to care for the needs of others, and to train them in discipleship and evangelism to reach out to their neighbors.
WHEN
Now! We have a target date to start a home group in all the Front Range cities by June 2016 and have our first church plant by January 2017.
